I found a long-term violin teacher for Boniface!!

SCORE! Rachel is a violinist from the States who is teaching strings at the Mt. Kenya Academy in Nyeri, which is about 1.5 hours away from Meru. Rachel and I just talked, and she said that she would be happy to be Boniface’s violin teacher after I am gone. This is great news, because I have been worried about the long-term training for Boniface.

There are still details to iron out, and in Kenya, things seem to change all the time. But for now, this seems like a really thrilling development. Hopefully, Boniface and I can meet Rachel on the 30th. Yessss!
